Anybody Can Be a Cleantech Entrepreneur

Anybody Can Be a Cleantech Entrepreneur

Posted on October 6, 2019 by Victor McDonald

Announcer: Ok, grand prize… ten thousand dollars for Waste 2 Water. Angela Jackson: Anybody can be a cleantech entrepreneur if they find a problem they want to solve
that’s related to the environment and they’re going to bring their unique perspective
and education to solving it. The Cleantech Challenge is a great opportunity to bring people out from their books and
their disciplines to, you know, meet up with others who can
make their idea better. Quinn Read: We’ve had students from the school of architecture we’ve had students from environmental studies engineering, from biology, from applied
physics, from business. You know, we’ve had graphic design students too. So, environmental innovations can come from
any sector, from any form of study and we want those people to come out here and
have the opportunity to make their idea a reality.
